General Secretary Guterres gave this message when speaking at a press conference held at the UN headquarters in New York on Thursday, July 25.
He said, “The effects of the rising heat all over the world have not affected everyone equally. The poor, workers, displaced people, pregnant women, children, the elderly, and disabled people who are deprived of the facilities of living in cool weather are more affected.”
