We the Workers of Informal Sector (Nepali Version) The problems of the workers working in the informal sector are different from those in the formal sector. They suffer more from all aspects of rights, wages, social security and other benefits. Therefore, since its inception, Nepal Trade Union Federation (GIFANT) started union work in the informal sector along with union building and labor mobilization in the formal sector. Of the four national unions that established the Nepal Trade Union Federation (GIFANT), 3 were from the formal sector and one from the informal sector. Another official in the area is Ne Pal Transport Independent Labor Organization (Neyaswamsan). The work of organizing all kinds of workers in the informal sector in the Nepal Independent Workers Union (NESWMU) of the formal sector continued for many years. Later, while different national associations of different formal and informal sectors were formed, many associations of the informal sector were formed and developed.
