BWI and FIFA sign groundbreaking agreement to advance workers’ rights at FIFA tournaments
The General Federation of Nepalese Trade Unions (GEFONT) organized the Kathmandu Valley Level Extended Meeting under Bagmati Province on October 25, 2025 at the GEFONT Assembly Hall.
Addressing the meeting, GEFONT Vice President Jitendra Shrestha and General Secretary Laxman Sharma highlighted the significance of the meeting and shed light on the Worker Dialogue Programs that GEFONT is set to organize in the changing political context.
The meeting was chaired by Bagmati Province President Ramhari Nepal and attended by GEFONT Secretary Mahendra Lal Shrestha, members of the National Committee, Provincial Committee, and central leaders from GEFONT-affiliated unions.
