From Nepal: ➡️ Hira K.C. – Home Workers’ Trade Union Nepal (HUN) ➡️ Navaraj Pandit & Sita Rijal – Nepal Street Vendors’ Trade Union (NEST) 2️⃣ Tea Workers’ Wage Increase in Nepal On September 1, 2025, the Nepal Tea Producers’ Association and trade unions agreed to raise wages for tea workers. ➡️ New Daily Wage: Rs. 565 (earlier Rs. 500) ➡️ New Monthly Wage: Rs. 15,699 (earlier Rs. 13,893) This increase includes Rs. 39 in basic salary and Rs. 26 in dearness allowance daily. Monthly increase: Rs. 1,162 in basic salary and Rs. 644 in dearness allowance.
