Nepal Health Volunteers Association (NEVA)

Nepal Health Volunteers Association (NEVA) was established in February 15, 2010 from first national conference of health volunteers. It aims to safeguard the rights of health volunteers trained with skills to give polio vaccine, vitamin and midwife and working in all parts of the country. The union has been registered in Department of Labour. The first national Convention of the union was held in March 5, 2011.

Orientation on Social Security to Female Community Health Volunteers in Phedikhola

On August 6, 2025, the Phedikhola Rural Municipality of Syangja District, Gandaki Province, conducted an orientation program for Female Community Health Volunteers on the contribution-based Social Security Fund.

During the program, all health volunteers working in the wards under the rural municipality were informed about the benefits available under the contribution-based social security scheme.
