Nepal Health Volunteers Association (NEVA)

Nepal Health Volunteers Association (NEVA) was established in February 15, 2010 from first national conference of health volunteers. It aims to safeguard the rights of health volunteers trained with skills to give polio vaccine, vitamin and midwife and working in all parts of the country. The union has been registered in Department of Labour. The first national Convention of the union was held in March 5, 2011.

Kathmandu Metropolitan City honors Nepal Health Volunteers Association NEVA

On the occasion of the 21st National Women Community Health Volunteer Day 2024, Kathmandu Metropolitan City has honored the General Federation of Nepalese Trade Unions (GEFONT) affiliate union Nepal Health Volunteer Association (NEVA).

The honor was given at a program organized by the metropolis on the occasion of Women Community Health Volunteer Day on December 5 in recognition of their continuous selfless contribution to the health service sector of Nepal and their contribution to the mitigation of gender-based violence.
