GEFONT Secretary Smriti Lama presented practical experiences, while trade union leaders from Nepal, India, Pakistan, Thailand, Mongolia, and the Philippines participated. 2️⃣ Transport Workers’ Appeal ITWAN and other organizations urged the government not to enforce mandatory embossed number plates without RFID infrastructure, expressing readiness to support modernization in the transport sector. 3️⃣ QR Code System in Malaysia The Embassy of Nepal in Malaysia launched a QR code and complaint form system to address problems faced by Nepali migrant workers. 4️⃣ ILO–NRNA Agreement ILO and NRNA signed an agreement to collaborate on migrant workers’ capacity building, policy advocacy, and mental health.
