The General Federation of Nepalese Trade Unions (GEFONT) completed a training on the topic of gender-based violence at the workplace for workers working in the sanitation and cleaning classification sector in Tokha Municipality, Kathmandu on December 15. GEFONT National Committee Member Thakur Kumar Shrestha inaugurated the program.
GEFONT Deputy General Secretary Naranath Luitel and Nepal Garbage Cleaners Employee Union (NGCEU) President Mohan Nepali highlighted issues including GEFONT's code of conduct on gender-based violence. The program was facilitated by GEFONT Project Coordinator Shankar Ghimire.
