At the first time, in South Asian history many Child Rights Activists and other concerned people to working under the banner of the First South Asian Regional Seminar- Workshop on Children. The seminar-workshop focused upon the theme: "Working Children in South Asia: Realities and Challenges" - a burning issue of our present. This document therefore is an outcome of the seminar-workshop proceedings - which were contributed by our delegates, participants and recourse persons. The CWIN initiated Seminar-Workshop was of course the key forum to exchange views and ideas, which was appreciated by most of the people. The five-day long Seminar-Workshop deliberations helped to understand and analyze the realities and challenges of working children in this region.
