Kathmandu, President of JTUCC, Cde. Binod Shrestha has discussed with the leaders of three active trade unions of Nepalgunj Medical College Teaching Hospital about the contributory based social security scheme of Nepal Government.
During the discussion, president Shrestha said that the one of the big hospital of the Midwest Nepalgunj Medical College still hasn’t register in contributory Social Security scheme and it was sad for the workers who were not registered in social security list yet.
President Shrestha informs that more than 50,000 workers have been registered in the scheme and the registration process is ongoing. He further emphasized that the government should bring all the industries and institutions compulsory provision to implement the program & Government should take an action to those who avoid the rules.
President Shrestha briefed on contribution based social security. In the program, JTUCC affiliated unions GEFONT, NTUC & ANTUF unions leaders of Nepalgunj Medical hospital have participated.
