GEFONT President Binod Shrestha said that “Economic transparency and discipline is important aspect of GEFONT to reach the current status.” He expressed need of modern system instead of traditional system of financial management and importance to bring uniformity to all level.
Inaugurating the Financial Management Training organised by GEFONT, President Shrestha expected that the training will be fruitful to bring uniformity in financial management of different level structures from provincial to local Municipalities level.
During the Training, GEFONT Vice President and Financial Incharge Gunaram Acharaya highlighted the objectives of the training and importance of effective financial management at each level. He directed all affiliates to make PAN Card and tax exemption certificate.
Likewise, Facilitators Manju Gyanwali and Gopal Kharel trained the participants about the budget preparation, budget cycle & monitoring system and operation of tally software respectively.
During the closing session, GEFONT Scretary General Janak Chaudharybriefed about GEFONT Solidarity Fund and Women Social Welfare Fund. He also directed all participants to use the knowledge gain by training for effective financial management of the organisation.
