Kathmandu, Bagmati Province committee has organized a meeting of the leaders of the municipality Committees of Makwanpur and Chitwan districts.
Addressing a gathering held at GEFONT meeting hall in Hetauda, Makwanpur on December 9, GEFONT president Cde. Binod Shrestha said that socialism is not only a long term goal of GEFONT but also our future.He emphasized on the need to move forward while protecting the achievements. He has also highlighted the 10 points programs passed by the 7th GEFONT Congress.
Reviewing the progress of the programs passed by the congress president Shrestha stressed on the need for the municipal committees to be more active. He has also urged to GEFONT representatives to continue the organization work as directed by the GEFONT council meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, GEFONT Vice President and Bagmati Province In-Charge Cde.Jitendra Shrestha stressed on the need to move forward even though the difficulties covid 19.
He also instructed the GEFONT provincial committee to hold a meeting of each municipal committee within the month of December for the planning of the work.
The meeting was attended by 53 leaders from Hetauda Sub-metropolis, Gadhi, Bhimfedi and Manohara Municipalities of Makwanpur District.
Similarly, a meeting of GEFONT Municipality level cadres was held in Bharatpur of Chitwan on December 13. Addressing the gathering, GEFONT Vice President and Bagmati province In-Charge Cde. Jitendra Shrestha informed about the policies and programs of GEFONT.
Presiding the gathering, GEFONT Bagmati province Secretary Cde. Arjun Aryal highlighted the impropriety of the gathering.
