Workers Manhandle at Hotel Beijing China

June 25 – GEFONT has issued a press release condemning the inhuman attack on peaceful demonstrators. More than dozen workers were seriously injured in inhuman attack with weapons by the management of Hotel Beijing China in Jyatha, Kathmandu while they were in peaceful demonstration.

Press release further reads - Workers were continuously negotiating with management regarding the implementation of Labour Law. As management not responds their demands so they started protest against it.

Earlier, Government of Nepal has order the management of Hotel Beijing China to call workers return in their duty and implement Labour Law.

GEFONT strongly condemn the cruelty and disobedience order of Government by the Hotel Management. GEFONT urges to fulfill the workers demand, treatment and compensation for injured workers.
